Gallions Quarter Architectural Bid

Gallions Quarter was an architectural bid lead by Notting Hill Housing for a new development within the Albert Docks in East London. Working with a large team of developers, contractor, housing providers and a design team comprised of AHMM, Feilden Clegg Bradley, MacCreanor lavington and MUF, I designed a document in the style of a printed magazine.

From the initial outset, the client was clear they wanted to present the bid in an editorial magazine style – taking influence from the site’s name ‘Gallions Quarter’ abbreviated to ‘GQ’.The magazine contained feature articles, editorial and stories to help narrate the scheme proposals. Each page was designed to relate specifically to the content featured within it and worked successfully within a monotone palette with feature colours per feature section.
